Icheon World Ceramic Center located at Seolbong Park, where hills and lake make a beautiful view, is equipped with diverse ceramic related facilities. The center has established an international network for the goal of introducing the evolution of contemporary ceramic art to people around the world, and is involved in many activities for the development of world ceramic culture.

The Center is composed of four main exhibition halls and large open spaces where ceramics festivities can take place, along with an international conference hall with a capacity to seat 400 persons, and theme parks featuring traditional Korean kilns, gombangdae (smoking pipe kilns), and Toya Land. In 2005, a Ceramic Research Center will open, consisting of a ceramics information archive, where people can have access to various ceramic related resources, as well as an international conference hall with high-tech facilities, and a marketing/e-commerce support center to help promote the ceramic industry.

Icheon World Ceramic Center has on permanent display the ceramic works of major Korean and international ceramists, and also holds special exhibitions to provide a comprehensive display of the world contemporary ceramics. This is in line with the Center¡¯s aspiration to lead the globalization of Korean ceramics and develop into one of the major centers of international ceramic culture.
