| The special exhibition of the 1st World Ceramic
Biennale that was
conceived to look back the contemporary ceramics
of the 20th century
and to lookout the future brought a considerable
impact. Masters of the
contemporary ceramics namely Peter Voulkos, Rudy
Autio, Betty
Woodman, Jun Kaneko etc. who explored and unveiled
the artistic
possibilities and potential of clay in the second
half of the 20th century
