Following the success of the 1st International Ceramic
Symposium in 2001, WOCEF is pleased to
host the 2nd International Ceramic Symposium as one of
the main events of the 2nd World
Ceramic Biennale 2003 Korea.
The contents of the symposium aim to open an international
debate on progressive concepts and strategies in contemporary
ceramic arts. The symposium will attempt to present not
only a
platform for discussions and evaluations of contemporary
ceramics but also new prospects
towards a new identity of contemporary ceramics. With
the participation of 23 internationally
renowned artists, critics, curators and historians this
year¡¯s symposium will provide up-to date
analysis and open discussions concerning the field of
contemporary ceramics. We are glad to
invite you to this valuable opportunity.
