How will ceramic art change in the 21st century? What aesthetic values
and ideas do ceramic artists from different countries have? Today,
ceramic artists of the world are working to explore new visions for the
future.
We are now going to find the most promising artists - those with the
most creative and challenging ideas ?
who will lead the way in the evolution of ceramic art in the 21st century.
We have brought together artists from around the world to achieve this
noble goal.

At the 1st CEBIKO, we saw works by artists who had been at the forefront of ceramic art in the
20th century.
Under the theme ¡°Looing Back for the Future¡±, we celebrated the achievements of contemporary
ceramic artists in the 20th century and anticipated the continued development of ceramic art in
the 21st century.

Who will lead the 21st century? Through the exhibition ¡°Now & Now,¡± we will find these
vanguard artists and forecast new trends in ceramic art through their work. Now & Now will
showcase the ideas that inspire ceramic artists, the creative elements they apply, and the
evolving spirit they bring to contemporary ceramic art.
